The band were signed to Platform Records and their debut single, "Calling It Wrong",[1] was released on April 21, 2007.[2] The single entered the UK Indie Chart and the Scottish charts on April 28, reaching numbers 20 and 23 respectively. The band's second single, "Venom",[1] was released on April 13, 2009.[3] The single reached number 7 in the UK Indie Chart. They announced an "indefinite hiatus" on January 27, 2010, marking the end of The Shermans.
